Waterville Valley

Waterville Valley has a solid reputation as a family destination for action-packed winter fun in a beautiful contained New Hampshire valley, easy to reach of I-93.  Waterville offers terrain from family friendly mellow Valley Run to moguls with great views from 4,004' Mt Tecumseh. New for 2017, Waterville Valley opens Green Peak - this new 45-acre area has a fixed grip triple and 10 new trails.  Waterville has everything from a Kids Adventure Trail to larger parks and terrain features in Exhibition Park, Psyched, and South Street Park plus a Superpipe with 18' walls to host Big Air events.

Waterville Valley has a very family friendly vibe, including all inclusive ski weeks with lodging, lifts, lessons, snowshoeing, snow tubing, ice skating, athletic center and swimming pool access for a great family ski week.

Waterville has ski school and snowboard programs for every age, ability level and preference on up to race training with the WVBBTS (Waterville Valley Black and Blue Trail Smashers), they even have an official NASTAR race course.  Waterville is a training hill for up and coming racers and a popular midweek spot for the Silver Streaks. The nearby resort village and Town Square offer lodging, dining, cross-country skiing and ice-skating, plus a sports center with indoor tennis and swimming. Waterville is also affiliated with the Boston Red Sox as the official ski resort for the Sox - so you may see Wally the Green Monster out on the slopes this winter. You might also bump into Olympic skier Hannah Kearney, the ski ambassador at Waterville Valley.

In October of 2010, Waterville Valley's previous owner Tom Corcoran (who started the resort in 1966) returned along with GM Bob Fries when the resort was purchased by the Sununu family. Families will also see a return to Waterville's roots as a family ski resort with a proud racing heritage, and all inclusive ski weeks full of family fun and activities for the entire clan!
